Fantastic Onion Rings, Fried Clams/Scallops/Shrimp in Lowell, Ma.

Wow, some of the best onion rings ever at Good Thymes Restaurant. I know I've raved about this place before and you have to be careful of the crowds but I hadn't tried their fried clams before and we were craving. Really nice flavored batter, not too heavy - perfect. great size clams with bellys (they had strips too). I got 1/2 & 1/2 clams/butterfly shrimp, hubby did clams and scallops (all were awesome, although scallops next time for me - sooooo sweet). We split an appetiser of onion rings, we each got potato and side with our meal (me - baked and pickled beets), (him-carrots and mashed). We both had water. Total bill for fantastic food and service - $36.00 (and enough for lunch tomorrow for both of us)

Nothing creative or gourmet about this place, just excellent fresh food prepared right (with phenominal service).

No need to go east for excellent seafood.
