Straws for bubble tea?

Charliebear Jun 6, 2009 09:25 PM

Has anyone spotted bubble tea straws (those very wide ones) for purchase anywhere? I went to both the C-Mart on Lincoln and the Super88 in Allston to no avail.

I think I have seen the straws at Kam Man in Quincy. They certainly have had the boba (big tapioca pearls).

There is that kitchen supply store in Chinatown - don't know the name - but I think they might have them.

You can order them online. The kitchen supply store is gone, at least the one on Harrison/Beach is no longer there.

While you probably want these ASAP and not wish to pay S&H, you can order them from BobaTeaDirect, usual before and after. They are available in managable quantities. I've purchased many items from them and highly recommend them if you wish to go that route.
