I must shout from the rooftops that my little home town, Ardmore, Oklahoma is now home to a fabulous restaurant. It's called Cafe Alley, and if you are ever driving down I-35 on the stretch between Oklahoma City and Dallas, take exit 31A, put in the work it takes to find the place (all the way down broadway and main) and order whatever is the special for the night.

New York Strip with cabernet sauce and maytag blue cheese....oh...my...god.

The seared ahi tuna with ginger/soy/wasabi sauce...yes please.

Chicken fried steak with jalapeno gravy...incredible.

NOTHING will disappoint, and the owners are a young married couple born and raised in Ardmore. The husband is executive chef, and the wife greets you with a smile as you walk in.

What a great place. Go!

This is good news. Only dining option I found in Ardmore was the Two Frogs Grill, which is fine but hardly exceptional. We'll look for Cafe Alley next time.
