Tin's Tea House in Walnut Creek is gone!?
Just had a hankering for dim sum and tried to go here. Gone. What's the story? Another victim of the economy? It's been busy every time I've ever been there.

Haven't been, but there's the place in Concord across from the Park N Shop (Fry's) lot.

I was there once about a year or so ago and don't bother, cold greasy offerings. There is Dublin, lots of posts on the new center there. I just go westbound and hit Oakland when the cravings hit.

koi garden in dublin , 4288 dublin blvd, serves above average dim sum at reasonable prices. caveat is the long wait for seating at peak times and the poor service once you are seated.
believe the dim sum comes out on carts.

I missed Alice's place when they moved from Oakland to Walnut Creek. Now I miss them altogether. I hope they get a new place soon!

I realize this is a year later, but if your still looking. Imperial Seafood Restaurant in Concord is decent. Not at good at Tin's but they are getting better the longer they are open.
I miss Tin's.
