Ba Le or DC Sandwich?

I'll be visiting this weekend and will probably only have time to get banh mi once. I've been to Ba Le and it was my favorite out of the several places I've tried. I've some great and some bad things about DC Sandwich. If you had to pick one, which would it be?

A sandwich is a sandwich. Depends on how fresh the bread is at the moment you come in, and whether they have anything you particularly like.

The Ba Le on Graham Road (I think there are a few in town) has a little seating, so you don't have to eat your sandwich in the car or take it home. I hate that, and most of the banh mi shops are carry-out only. .

Tried to go back to DC Sandwich for the second time, this time at 8:30 on Sunday, and they were closed again. So I drove the mile down the road to Ba Le on Graham Road and had another tasty round of sandwiches. I'll try DC Sandwich one day!

Got to DC Sandwich at 10pm and they were closed, drove the 2 miles down the road to Ba Le, got a Combo #1, roast pork, red roast pork, and meatball. All were very good, but I do wish I'd had been able to try DC sandwich.

I've only been to DC Sandwich, not as much as I'd like, but each visit has been a success, and parking is pretty easy.

They're about the same....and they are located in two relatively far apart locations. Just go to the one that's closer to where you are.

Both are on Graham Rd in Falls Church, VA not far apart at all. No more than a mile. You could probably walk it in 25 minutes. One is on 29, the other on 50.

So far I have had more success with the super combo #1 at Ba Le. But DC Sandwich has a larger selection, so one could do a lot of exploring there.

Ah...I thought you were referring to BaLe in Rockville. That makes more sense.
