We are new to town in Newtown CT. We will be in Danbury later and would like to have lunch somewhere casual and delicious with our 2 year old-
any suggestions???

I haven't been there in about a year but Rosy Tomorrow's in Danbury isn't too bad (for lunch - can be loud for dinner / happy hour).

I'm a big fan of JK's Texas Hot Weiners (they're really not hot) for a quick diner like cheap meal (great milkshakes too)

I was going to suggest Rosy Tomorrow's too. The food is good enough, and certainly family friendly.

It's not fancy but it's great diner food served with a smile and a VERY family-friendly environment (sometimes Elmer's kids are there, too). Elmer's Diner on Padanaram in Danbury (across from the North St. shopping center). Great prices, too. Parking can be tight when they're crowded. Additional parking is available across a BUSY street....

I'd recommend a future visit to the Syacamore Drive In in nearby Bethel -- old fashioned hamburger stand with homemade rootbeer and car hop service!
