I have a relative who craves Brach's butterscotch hard candies - substitute brands just don't cut it apparently. Any help on where they can be bought? This has proven to be a harder task than imagined (none at CVS). Boston or south preferably. Thanks in advance!

Good luck to you on finding this candy. This and the cinnamon disc are my favorite candies. I grew up in the Washington DC area and all food stores had the bulk candy and these two were always there. About two years ago they stop selling in bulk and about 8 months ago I came across a super market named Harris Tetter's that sold it and guess what? Around 4 weeks ago they stopped selling the bulk Brach's candy. I have had a bad experience with one of the candy stores on line and good luck with one but can not remember the name. I was charged for candy I never received and had to get my charge company involved to get my money back. If I find a place in the future I will let you know. I have even written to Brach's to ask where I can buy this stuff from. They still sell the cinnamon discs in bags but not the butterscotch.
