T-Rex Closing/Olecito Coming in
As reported in the Tab this week, it appears that T-Rex will be closing soon and Olecito moving into the space. I wonder how they will do because I don't think T-Rex even lasted a year.

This just made me bi-weekly trip to the Wine Gallery that much more fun! I love Olecito's shrimp taco and carnitas taco. Good stuff!

I agree. Even though I saw some serious signs of improvement for a while there. Even the Fish Taco's started to impress to a certain extent. On my last two visits though they regressed back to their old mediocre level and I basically wrote them off again.
Hopefully Olecito is better. All I know is that I am excited to see how Dorado does when it opens late June.

Great news! Yeah, T-Rex was pretty underwhelming, good to know that we'll get another chance at mexican in the neighborhood! (I've never managed to try Olecito in Cambridge, but they appear to come promisingly close to obeying the rule of "offer just a couple things and it's harder to screw them up")
