Domenick and Pia Waterbury, CT Anyone?
Was watching Eating CT on CPTV last night and they said Domenick and Pia was some of the best pizza in Waterbury. I have not heard of the place. Anyone have an opinion? Thanks.

Is this the pizza in the paper bag? I remember watching this episode, too, but cannot remember which of the two pizza places I wanted to try. I think this might have been it. Was thinking of checking it out this weekend.
Did you ever end up going, Richie? Or anyone? I can picture it in my mind's eye...a dark sign with gold letters, maybe? Is that D&P's? Or was it Bacco's--'cause this sure looks like a paper bag to me (check the Yelp photo)!

This is one of my favorite pizzas in Waterbury. I moved out of town many years ago, but every time I come home, this is a must stop for me. I not only consider it some of the best pizza in Connecticut, but one of the best in the country
The same family has run this restaurant for a few generations.
Every time I come home, I think "Was this as good as I remember?" The answer is always yes. My last piece of pizza was just as wonderful as the first slice I had long ago.
