Port Orford

Sorry your plans changed, because some of the best eating on the entire coast is at the little restaurant on the dock in Port Orford. We had great breakfasts there -- with the colorful fishing boats parked right outside the windows -- and fresh-caught fish for dinner was divine! (Think it used to be a bait shop - ha!)

Our plans changed. We are now going to be in Gold Beach. Sorry, I won't be able to enlighten everyone with the culinary delights of Port Orford. Maybe later this summer I'll head up there for a day just to check it out.

Crazy Norwegians fish and chips was the best I had on my Oregon Coast trip 5 years ago. I pray they haven't changed.

Honestly, I've been in the Pac NW for 25 years and I've never heard of it - I'll be very interested to know more about it. Post Post Post after your trip...
