Both Pizza Volante and Q are for sale...Pacific Time closed and is for sale as well. Not sure about Fin, but don't know how that will survive seeing it shares a kitchen with Q.

Bumping this one back up.

Luna Corner Pizza on Biscayne and 69th closed. Drove by every day and it was always empty with the staff hanging out watching TV. Then again, touting it was pizza from Italy using great ingredients, it was not very good.

Luna joins Casa Toscana as Biscayne corridor restaurants closing in the last couple of months.

Damn! I never got to try that place. Not the best location. Oh well. Same w/Casa Toscana, which sounds like a real loss, actually. Something about that neighborhood. I guess even Michy's can't help the other places.

Oh, and Nemo is closed too. And reverting back to my original post of over a year ago: Tuscan Steak aka El Scorpion aka almost Q American Barbecue is still closed.

Nemo supposedly is "sprucing up" and says they will be reopening October. I also don't think the Scorpion / Q musical chairs was slated to occur until the fall either. Indomania is temporarily closed right now too (something they've regularly done most summers as I recall).

Not sure if Les Halles (Coral Gables) has been mentioned here; though they said they closed for renovations, the evictio notice on the door would suggest otherwise.

Clarification of Frod's point; Indomania (26th just east of collins) doesn't actually close (for annual vacation) until next Saturday August 28th when the owners go back to Amsterdam for the month of September. I was there Monday for the rijstaffel event.

Les Halles' owner is apparently "reorganizing" and the Les Halles site lists the FL location as "temporarily closed."

We'll see.

yep, walked by last night and it was shut down , chairs on table at 630. official word is they are kaput and a tequila bar is opening in its place.

Friend of mine who works for the Delano (same group owns Tuscan) told me they didn't even know! They had a meeting, announced it and next day doors were closed! So sad!

sounds eerily like The Forge, only they allege they will reopen in the winter. Not so sure about that
