Downtown Orlando eats
Anyone tried The Black Olive on Pine St.? Had a fantastic soup there yesterday at lunch, but the sandwich left much to be desired. Even left feeling kinda yucky.
Curious to know if anyone's had a better experience. I'm not ready to count it out yet, but I need some feedback before planning a Round 2.
Also, has anyone tried Senso on Orange Ave.? I love the look of it, but haven't seen/heard any talk on it yet.

I've been quite a few times to The Black Olive,, though never for lunch. For the most part it has been excellent., although I have been disappointed on a couple of occasions. I've liked the steak and lamb and a couple of pasta dishes. The deserts have all been good. I was disappointed in a daily fish special and one of the pasta's (don't remember which). The Soups have all been good. The Salads need a little work. They just started offering a 3 course $19.99 meal at nights, haven't tried it yet. But the price is right..
