Places to eat Downtown Philly
We are going to Philadelphia first week of July we are staying on the Rittenhouse Square area in a hotel we kitchen. Any recomendation where to food shop? Also thinking of eating at Chifa and Tinto, are this good choices? Also any good cheese steak places? I know I am fool of questions.
Thanks,

Chifa and Tinto are great restaurants, but they're both Garces restos. You might want to try something different for a 2nd choice.
BTW, it's probably a typo, but I love "fool of questions." Even better if it's intentional!

Food shop at the farmers market Tuesdays and Saturdays (Walnut Street side of the square) or the Reading Terminal Market everyday, but Wed thru Sat has the most vendors. Get a Roast Pork Sanwich at the Reading Terminal Market. Tinto is a great choice - haven't been to Chifa yet.

re: Bigley9
You could also food shop at DiBruno's in Rittenhouse, and there are a few Whole Foods Markets about a 15 minute walk away. Do hit Reading Terminal though...it's great! You may want to also consider having gelato at Capogiro (across the street from Tinto) and also Estia is close by and has great seafood.
