Visiting MTL...

Coming in for a wknd with my boyfriend. Looking for some cool spots -- brunches and dinners. Great ambiance and great food is a must.

All suggestions welcome but looking for Old MTL and Plateau mostly. Been thinking about Garde Manger, Holder, Le Local, Au Pied de Cochon, L'Express... which is the best out of these, and what else is there!!

i'd skip L'Express, except if you are in absolute need of late evening food on a sunday night.

There are a few others in the 'hood that might be interresting, "Cocagne" "Justine" "Les 3 Petits Bouchons" ...
