re: lcool
Had dinner at Kinkead's last night and it was good, but not much better than that. The curry shrimp soup (a special) was the only standout dish. still, high marks for comfort, service etc.
Any suggestions for lunch in the same neck of the woods (or Georgetown) - nothing too heavy as we have dinner at Central. Thanks.

If you can afford it, Marcels is nearby and excellent. Blue Duck Tavern is also in that neck of the woods. Founding Farmers is nearby, but gets mixed reviews.
I like Hook (Georgetown) and Blacksalt for seafood. It's been a few years since I've been to Kinkeads, but I think it's still a solid choice as well.
