Business lunch near Brighton?
Meeting a business contact who is from out of town and will be wrapping up a meeting in Brighton.
Need a good "business lunch" place. Tables not too close; decent food, accessible to major roadways and easy parking.
First to come to mind:
Aegean in Watertown (know the Framingham location; should work)
Stockyard in Brighton (but I haven't been there in years so I'm not sure...)
Harvard Sq. (Charles hotel for easy parking and meeting up)
Any other suggestions?
Stockyard is certainly safe, a choice-grade steakhouse with free parking. I like The Local for lunch; it's right off the West Newton Pike exit and has pretty easy meter and lot parking nearby, a little less tired- and retro-feeling than The Stockyard (better wines, for instance), but plenty informal. It's a slightly-upscale bar with above-average food, nicer-than-average ambience, not trying too hard, and the dining room is really roomy. Both are plenty casual.
For a bit more formality, serious service, and better food, I might suggest Aquitaine Bis on Route 9 in Chestnut Hill for lunch, which has free parking and a polished French brasserie feel. Similarly, in Harvard Square, I'd probably choose Harvest or Sandrine's, both of which are another notch up price-wise. They're stuffier, too; I wouldn't bring guests in construction-site clothes to any of them.

Thanks, all. This is good info! I thought about Aquitaine, but my prospective client will be heading back to the airport after lunch and I don't know how well she knows the area. I think I'm going to go with the Aegean, as it's easy to get to, visible from the street and has parking. I'll save Harvard Sq. (Harvest, etc) for when I get the contract :-)
