I want a turkey burger, or a tuna burger, or a salmon burger! All they have is beef. Even a chiken breast sandwich would be nice. But no, just BEEF. Hell, I would even eat a veggie burger if they offered one.

      From their web site:

"Five Guys does not currently have plans to add any items to our menu. We follow the philosophy of focusing on a few items, and serving them to the best of our ability. If we were to add to our menu, then you can guarantee that we would only do so if we could serve the highest quality product possible."

I've got no BEEF with this philosophy as long as they keep cranking out quality burgers and fries.

ok first the bad news,,,the fries were awful...but the burger? Oh My...flavorful and juicy, lots of free (!!!) toppings to choose from, I got the sautted onions and mushrooms.
It's a "griddle"burger not a "pub-styled" gas grilled burger, but it is yummy.
One word to the first timers...it's billed as the hamburger or cheeseburger but be aware that it is a double patty and 1 is PLENTY for the average bear.
If you are not hungry get the "little burger"

I went to the Foxboro store a couple of weeks ago and thought the burger and fries were great. In my opinion, the concept is a copy of the famous In and Out Burger. Whenever I travel to CA, In and Out is first on the to-do list. But I do plan on hitting another 5 Guys store in MA sometime soon.

I'm a fan, too. I find myself looking for errands at Patriots Place on the weekends around lunch time. And this from a guy who has always liked his burgers very rare - there well-done policy gave me pause, but they tast great.

And I like the fries. A lot.

Just got back from lunch there. The burgers were great, but man, was it crazy. Huge crowd and long lines. Hopefully, that will abate after the novelty wears off. Definitely try to hit them after 1 PM to avoid the worst of the lunch crowd lines. Not sure if they are as busy at dinner, but the parking lot has been packed every time I drive by.

The hype should definitely die down soon. The Dedham location is still busy, but not crazy busy and the line goes fast.

Boy this place lives up to the hype, the Burgers arent huge, but you can put as many toppings as you want so it can be made however you want, which I liked, and it was really good burgers. And the fries are awesome there, skin on fries, salted perfectly didnt need ketchup at all and we devoured them, cant wait to try them cajun style. Will be a bit hit in swampscott like it has been everywhere else. I will be back there again for sure.
