Is that Beech Mountain NC???? If so, it's close to Banner Elk. Stone Walls is a good place for steaks, Jackalope's view at Archers inn, Zuzda Tapas Bar, Sorrentos ( They have the best crabcake that I have tasted) These are my favorite restaurant close to Beech Mountain.

Yes indeed. Sorrento's does have excellent crab cakes (with lobster sauce). Also good fettuccine Alfredo. We've never had a bad meal there. Stonewall's is a comfortable and always reliable "steak house" with salad bar in Banner Elk. We also enjoy dining on the deck at the Bayou in the shopping center - also in Banner Elk. They have excellent trout, and shrimp and grits on the weekends.
