Birthday dinner for 7 in West Hollywood

We are celebrating two birthday's in my family, someone is turning 30 and someone else 35.

We are near la cienega and beverly and would like to stay sort of close.

We have a party of 7 and a baby.

Most of us like great food and I am having difficulty coming up with a place.

We've recently done Chaya, Bazaar, so those are out.

I was thinking Hatfields but when I called to make a reservation they said they dont have high chairs, so it seems like thats out too.

We like to keep the food to about 40 or less a person before drinks.

Would love any recommendations in the area.

Fat Fish on Melrose is moderately priced and great for large parties even if you have kids.

i have to respectfully disagree with this rec. i've never found the quality or the price to quality to wannabe ratio high enough. last time i was there was for my stepbrother's birthday, and it was just an unsatisfying experience overall.

Tasca could be fun for a group for Spanish tapas.

AOC!!! Or Sofis for Greek. What about La Terza on 3rd. great spanish tapas and nice wine. Itzkaya by katsuya on 3rd, may run more than 40 a person.

I haven't been there in awhile but the last time I went to Cobras and Matadors it was for a birthday party and it was a blast. Also, Terroni right next to it. I know people don't like the pizza as much as Mozza, but I always have a great meal.

Try The Hall at the Palihouse hotel on La Cienega and Santa Monica. It's gorgeous, great menu and will accomodate a group very nicely. It's pricey but around the same range as Hatfield's.

Minestraio has lots of space and reasonably priced, great food.
