Sweet Republic in Bon Apettit

Sweet Republic took the #1 spot in a list of Top 10 Ice Cream Shops in Bon Apettit. It's a short blurb but still nice to see ... now if they'd only bring back that carrot cake flavor they had going around Easter!! That stuff was insane.

    Stopped in there last week. The strawberry sorbe was fantastic. I can not believe I have lived within a couple of miles of SR and did not know it existed.

      Wow, what a great honor for Sweet Republic! Congrats! It's so great to have a place like that in town and close by. I'm going back in this week.

        I missed that flavor, but recently tried the japaleno-avocado. Very nice blend with a Mexican flair. Don't worry about fiery ice cream, though. The jalapenos are deseeded, removing most of their burn, but leaving behind a pepper flavor that blends well with the avocado.
