Deli/Catering for Sandwiches around Southbury, CT?

milano14 Jun 1, 2009 12:19 PM

I'm hosting a bridal shower in a few weekends and looking for good recommendations for sandwich/catering places around Southbury.
Wraps and inventive yummy sandwiches. Not just run of the mill stuff.
Any suggestions?

This should fit the bill nicely: http://www.henofthewoodsct.com/

Just went there for lunch today for the first time -- very good, fresh, good value, homey. There's no signage off Main St so it's a touch hard to see, but it's right off Main St near Rte 67 intersection.

The folks who opened this had a catering joint of the same name in a terrible location in Woodbury, up at the peak of Bucks Hills Rd. Smart of them to move to the new place, and it was packed for lunch today.

Its been a while since I was up that way but The Sandwich Construction Company in Woodbury, on Rt. 6 was always one of my favorite places to stop for a sandwich. They bake their own bread and all of their ingredients are extremly fresh. As least they used to be, its been a couple of years since I was there.
