Anything Interesting Near Ikea (Stoughton?)
Heading out to shop Wednesday afternoon with no real agenda. Looking for a place to stop for late lunch/early dinner and a cocktail or two.
We like all ethnicities, any price range is fine and we'll obviously have a car, although closer to Ikea is better.
Thanks, kids!

The best dining nearby, by far, is Cafe Bella in Randolph. It's a great spot, with high quality (friendly) service, great wine list, and excellent Northern Italian food (no red sauce). It's also very crowded, so getting there when it opens is a great idea.

Right by Ikea are just so-so chains (Olive Garden & Smoky Bones). Cobbs Corner has Chinatown, and on Rt. 138 are La Storia (decent Italian, slowish service) and X & O (ok Greek).

Try Rick's Cafe & Pizzeria, 63 Mazzeo Dr, Randolph (right off exit 20 of Rt. 24)
Mapquest says it's 1.76 miles away from IKEA. I've visited it as a sales rep, but haven't eaten there. Nice casual restaurant with bar.

Service is inattentive at best at Rick's. Town Spa (cash only) has ok pizza and is somewhat reasonably priced, but burned thin crust pizza overrated. There is a Not Your Average Joe's in Randolph that is pretty good and less formal/expensive than Cafe Bella.

Thanks, everyone. We just ended up grabbing (surprisingly decent) coffee in Ikea. I'll keep this thread handy for the future.
