Searching for fiddleheads

Does anyone know where I can buy fiddlehead ferns in the DC area? I checked the Whole Foods in Silver Spring and didn't see them. Any tips??

    I have seen them at the Balducci's on Washington in Old Town.

      Earlier in the year I saw them in some grocery stores, including the Harris Teeter on Duke Street in Alexandria.

        This is pretty ate in the season for them. They should be done shortly. Ramps are pretty much over as well.

            I can't speak for DC area but the mushroom lady at the Waverly Farmer's Market in Baltimore was selling fresh fiddlehead ferns on Saturday morning.
