Wheeling, WV ???!!!
Anyplace good to eat in Wheeling? So far I have only found listings for Hot Dogs, Beef & Fish Sandwiches. This is all OK, but I was hoping to find someplace where I can sit down with friends and have a good dinner. It doesn't have to be fancy, but I was hoping to find a decent family owned joint maybe a step up from basic diner. Thanks.

A fantastic view, very nice room & menu (as of summer 08) is the lodge at Oglebay resort - surprising. Plus it's a wonderful place to stroll around after dinner. Also nice in an old-fashioned, golf club kind of way is Stratford Springs. For outstanding family-style Italian go to Undo's (there are a couple in the area, all the same family).
