Red Cat questions

MrsWheatie Jun 1, 2009 08:03 AM

We have reservations on Saturday evening for a birthday celebration. I was wondering what dress code is like? Would hubby be OK in pants and collared shirt and me in dark jeans or casual dress? Want to pack light since in town for less than 36 hours. And any recs for pre-dinner drinks in area? We are staying on W 28th St. between 6th and 7th Aves.

Thank you!!

We were there last Sunday. People were dressed very casually. You must order the perogi appetizer; its the kind of dish that makes someone go back to a restaurant just to recreate the experience. All 3 of our entrees were delicious: skate, chicken and pork tenderloin. The hot fudge topped pistachio ice cream was sublime.

It's casual there so you will be fine in the dress you described.

Agreed. Without meaning to imply anything about the original poster or her party, I would say "casual but not sloppy."
