Asheville - Buddha Bagels, closed or moved?

Driving down Merrimon this afternoon I noticed that Buddha Bagels appeared to be vacant. Maybe they were just closed, but usually they're open at that hour. Didn't have a whole lot of time to really get a good look. Does anyone know anything? Closed? Open? Moved?

I'd hate to think they went out of business. I've been a customer there since Harry's NY Bagels first opened all those years ago.

Well, I just ran an errand and drove by again. My bad. They're still there, thankfully. Must not have had many customers around noon today. Or were closed (but not CLOSED) today.

They really do need to clean their windows. Hard to see if there is anything inside with the lights out.

Hmm. I went by at 12:30 pm today. There was a sign on the window that said that they were closed, permanently, effective immediately. At Greenlife, which usually stocks their bagels, the bagel case was empty.

I liked their bagels, but I can't say that I'm surprised that they closed, although I obviously don't know the full story behind the decision.

Yep. There was a small article confirming it on the Citizen-Times website today. Pity.

The woo-woo store next door, owned by the same people, closed, too.
