Gill's Indian in Manchester, NH

Found this gem last night by accident...looking at the menu collection at our hotel front desk. Only two other tables there on 7:30 on Saturday night, and Gill went from table to table talking and then cooked our food. We had some samosas and another chicken app then onion naan and lamb vindaloo and chicken curry. No Indian beer that night but a crisp Sam Adams was perfect. Topped off with mango ice cream. Hard to find, but worth it.

I recall a place over that way where that had an overly talkative owner. As a result, I don't remember much about the food. I hope that was not Gill's.

IMHO It is the single best Indian food I have ever tried, and was voted one of the top 5 best place to eat in area by the Newhampshire.com food critic

I love this place. This is the best Indian food in town and I can't get enough of it! I highly recommend it.

lots of great ravs about Gill's place - I don't understand why they are slow - we love them too.

That spice place next door - fantastic lunches, falafels, shawarma (sp?) .
