Anyone know this restaurant?

I was in New York a few weeks ago, and after dinner at Scarpetta we hopped a cab to Pegu Club. On the way we passed a restaurant that looked interesting, but I was not able to catch the name, and the cab driver had no clue.

I think we were driving down Ninth or a parallel ave. It was in the Meatpacking District I believe. The restaurant looked quite large. It was completely open on the side, no wall. It was jam packed. Looked like people of all ages, even kids were dining there.

Your description sounds like The Park, but the location isn't quite right - The Park is on 10th at 17th.

I was looking at a map... We may have gone down Hudson Street, but as I think about it, we may also have been going down Washington Street... so it could have been on either of them....

Driving on either of those streets, the restaurant was on the left. It was completely open on the side. The entrance must have been on the cross street.

It was not open in a terrace/sidewalk table sort of way. It was as if the side was lifted up. Did not look fancy.
