La Dolce Bakery in old bridge

Does anyone have any experience with them...planning a party at a restaurant and they get their cakes from there. It would be easiest to use this bakery but would it be worth it or should I just go somewhere else. Does Marie make special occasion cakes from Flakey?

Flakey Tart does make special occasion cakes. I inquired about one a few months ago for my mother, but it was more than she wanted to spend. Too bad, because I'm sure it would have been delicious.

I have used them for years, they do a nice job, no ace of cake stuff, but the cakes are moist and the fillings fresh. I go for the vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and bannannas, and fresh cream frosting. Visit their web sight

Lol - I just came back from their other location in the Raintree Plaza in Freehold and was going to post.

So far I have only tried a few things but they have all been good. I was going to call the post - It's not Flakey, but ...

This place seems like a winner and is soooo much closer than Flakey Tart for me that I'm sure I will be going back and trying more things in the near future. Great brownies and chocolate horns.

          Agree with Seal.
La Dolce Freehold NJ makes a very good cannoli and chocolate cake.

Personally, never tried the Old Bridge store.

La Dolce in Freehold has been our go to bakery for some time. The Cheesecake topped with chocolate mousse and strawberries is a favorite for a group.
The Old Bridge location is also very good.
