Where can I find the best Black Forest Cake?

Looking for that extra special Black Forest Cake, hopefully somewhere near Santa Monica or Beverly Hills. But I am willing to drive if I can get one that's worth it because it's for someone special.

I bet Jamaica's cakes would make a killer black forest! Everything else there is so amazing! I've ordered so many of their cakes for special occasions, and it never disappoints. A little pricey, but worth it.

for future planning...if you are in the san diego area, try the european cake gallery in point loma. black forest is their specialty.

Try The Red Lion in Silverlake. I don't know if they can sell you a whole cake but I remember having a slice there that was memorable.
