I've gotta go with the HALOS on this one.
Althought the Dodger Dogs have a much catchier name and more fabled history; I find them too big & unwieldy.
The (Wienerschnitzel) Angels dogs are perfect hot dog size.
The rest of the stadium food is ANGELS ALL THE WAY.
In addition to regular ball park fare (pizza, ice cream etc...)You can get chinese (teriyaki bowls, vegetables at a ball game!!!!) and now Mexican (thanks to new owner Arte Moreno)
& though it's not Lutece; the sit down restaurant is really nice if you have the time.

dodger dogs are a must for visiting folks.

But I also admit that the other food options are limited and boring. Angels stadium and disney did it right.

Angels take it on other food options I guess....
But where would you rather watch a game....c'mon Dodger Stadium is the best!

But they don't have chocolate malts at Angel Stadium do they? That being said, I guess I am just a sucker for Dodger Stadium. Although, someone told me there is some kind of deli type place at Dodger Stadium where you can get other than the DD and standard junk food (i.e. Subway, Pizza, nachos). Does anyone know about that and where it is?

Der Wienerschnitzel dogs -- PUHLEEZE! I was just at Petco Park and all my friends complained about the fact that their dogs were from DW and were still overpriced $6.50 for the big size, $5 for kosher beef. When it comes to stadium food, the old Qualcomm/Murphy Field in San Diego was the best -- Petco pales in comparison. They were actually selling a chocolate cup filled with strawberries and cream (the size of a cupcake) for $10!!!!

But I digress...

I can't belive ya'all are arguing over Dodger Dogs vs. DW. They are both underwhelming at best. Certainly the flacid weenies that are Dodger Dogs have denied LA a hot dog heritage as Angelenos think that's what a hot dog is supposed to taste like. And DW? Passable if you're hungry but certainly not worth searching out. Your standards are way low if both those pass as appropriate baseball stadium hot dogs to you.

I think it's just that the DW dogs served at Angel Stadium are the lesser of two evils. Dodger Dogs are truly horrid. They are limp, have no snap whatsoever, and taste like smoked cardboard. I don't see how anyone who actually likes hot dogs could like a Dodger Dog (except as some sort of ballpark tradition or something, but certainly not because of the dog itself).

That said, there is a stand at Dodger Stadium on the Reserved level that serves hot dogs in either NY style (w/saurkraut), Chicago style (with all appropriate Chi-town toppings, right down to the dyed green relish), or (I believe) a Texas chili dog. They use some sort of all-beef dog, which isn't great (no snap, really), but certainly beats the DD itself.

Make sure you are getting the GRILLED DD's and not regular DD's because the grilled ones do have some snap to 'em. I agree that the steamed ones are not all that great, but sometimes neither are the Dodgers but we are still fans, right? heh heh...
