Mohegan Sun - Which buffet is better?

I'm going to Mohegan Sun Casino this weekend and my small group wants to go to the buffet for dinner. I noticed there are two buffets: Seasons and Sunburst. They are close to the same price ($17 & $20 respectively) so the $3 price difference doesn't make the decision.
Which buffet would you recommend and why? Also, any other recommendations for lunch the next day?

We ate at Sunburst and the food was plentiful and tasteless. We will never go back there. Each of the items had the same grey taste. Maybe it was the time that it was laying on the steam table, but no matter what we ate, it was horrible.

Hi - I work at Mohegan Sun, and as a result, eat here a LOT! The debate on which buffet is better is ALWAYS ongoing! Both staff and guests feel strongly about each one. I might recommend stopping by both and seeing what they have out while you're here - the offerings change frequently. This way, you can pick the one that sounds most appetizing to you.

Lots of great places for lunch, some of our favorites are Birches Bar & Grill or Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, which just opened last fall. Michael Jordan's 23.sportcafe, Big Bubba's BBQ and Jasper White's Summer Shack are also open for lunch, and a lot of people LOVE the pizza at Lucky's Lounge. On Saturday you can get lunch at the bar outside Todd English's Tuscany, on Sundays they serve lunch inside the restaurant too.

Thanks chelle, for the lunch recs. I guess we'll just have to do the leg work and check out the buffets. But will they let you inside to see what they have out??? My recollection is tat you can't see that from the line outside.

What you can do is ask the person at the entrance if you can go inside and take a look at the food they are serving. I had the same dilemma a couple of years ago. The more expensive one does have more food selections, thus the higher price
