GE Profile Question

My husband and I are in the process of buying an apartment and they recently re-did the kitchen. It looks beautiful, and has all new appliances. All are GE Profile and the fridge has french doors and a bottom freezer. The range is the slide-in model, and I don't think it has the convection feature, but it's all gas. There is also a microwave (over the range) and a dishwasher. I was wondering if anyone's had experience with any of these items, and if you have any tips or tricks.

I am an avid cook, but for the past 6 years, we've been in a tiny place with a very small and very old stove, a bar sink and no dishwasher, so this will undoubtedly be a step up. If there are major concerns about any of these appliances, though, I'd consider selling them (before use) and buying something that will work better. Any thoughts? I'm so excited - I'm already planning what I'll make in my new kitchen!

Thanks!

jenhen2: You may want to read the bottom half of the (now very long) "Banning Nukes" thread that currently is very active on this board. Specifically, with an eye-level microwave you will want to consider how far and in what manner you will back away from it after you have pushed the Start button. You do not want your eyeballs close to the door of the microwave while it is operating.
