Disabling pilots on O'Keefe and Merit stove/oven

Is it possible to disable the pilots on an O'Keefe and Merit stove/oven, and just go back to manual ignition ?

Right now, the gas is on and all 4 pilots are lit, and it's generating a lot of heat even though none of the burners are on. Because of the season, and the infrequency of use, I'd like to leave the gas on, but have the pilots off, and light the burners manually when I need to use it. However, I have to disable the pilots, otherwise I'll have a huge gas leak. I just don't know how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Growing upp we had a very old range that occupied a spot in the basement -- used on holidays, when needed extra oven space and burners. The gas line had a shut-off valve that cut the gas supply to the stove. Not sure how feasible this is in a finished kitchen -- it occurs to me there may be code issues. Have a pro install -- gas is nothing to play around with. I would absolutely not tamper with the stove itself.

Almost every stove with standing pilots has a valve (often a set screw near the pilot) for each pilot. They can be shut off.
