No, but I'm glad you said something. I cut out a coupon recently.. I was going to go check it out.

There was a China Buffet in Jackson once, too.. they had just issued a coupon, we showed up, it was closed.. permanently. We ended up at a sushi buffet in Brick, but now I should know to call first.

The menu at East Buffet includes Chinese, Japanese and Korean food, plus an Oriental all-you-can-eat sushi hot and cold bar.

They have decent sushi and make a few rolls at a time and lots of different choices. Basic but tasty.

It looks like they no longer offer sushi... absolutely no mention of sushi on their website.. looks like it's strictly a Chinese buffet now.

The prices are really low, though. $6.99 for lunch? I was there (despite the long drive) until I figured out sushi most likely is not included in that price.

My post was in reference to "East Buffet" in Brick, not Empire Buffet in Neptune City.

This place actually had excellent food for a chinese buffet. Sorry to see it go. I've heard rumors that they had not been able to make rent for several months and moved out very suddenly.

We thought the same regarding the food, although as of late, it seemed not as good and the manager (owner?) has not been on the premises.
Sudden move, yes! We were there very shortly before the "no tresspassing signs" were applied to the windows!
Any replacement ideas?
