2. BYOB preferred...although if we can get to $50/pp with booze, that's ok
3. fun, hip
4. easy access (subway...outer boroughs suggestions welcomed)

City Winery does parties that size, at about that price,, its not BYOB Subway nearby, its a cool looking place.

Tough Venn diagram: So starting with #5 (outside?): #1 think about the 79th Boat Basin--really hamburgers etc., but both inside (in case of rain) and outside; 25 peeps a challenge anywhere, but they can handle it. #2 Think Stone Street (location, not the eponimous restaurant). Lottsa options, and it could well be first come... Just about any kind of food that you want (except fancy). #3 New Leaf Cafe; food OK, loc is the best. All are close to a subway.
