Recommendations near hotel in Quebec City

I just wanted to get some good recommendations close to Hotel Pur (Boul Charest & Couronne) . Not looking for anything in particular - just good food and hopefully a wide range of price options. All suggestions are hugely appreciated!

This is a nice page with all the restaurants around the Quartier St-Roch which is where you will be staying.

I love De Blanchet for lunch, I had fun at Largo once (jazz night) but don't remember much about the food. A little further outside of St-Roch, there is Café du Monde, really good and not so expensive.

for more expensive but haute gastronomie food, I suggest Toast.

also look around for the other post on Quebec city you will find many adresses!

    Have fun!

Thanks for the suggestion. We did end up eating at Toast one evening and it was a great meal. The portions to price ratio was actually very generous and I thought the food was thoughtful, balanced and extremely tasty.

I'm looking for something more low budget tonight (although not cheap) hopefully in the old part of the city again. Any other suggestions? Thanks so much.

there's a good "cheap" meaning not expensive ) vietnamese restaurant that's byow on the next corner close to the depanneur same side then the PUR. I was at the best western and i highly recommend their brunch on week-end. besides that, i went to the piazetta and it was ok, their decor is different and the service was perfect. there's a mediterranean restaurant not too far also on st-joseph street. i haven't tried it but was tempted. there are many restaurant on that street so just walk a bit ! enjoy your stay

If you want to grab a nice sandwich or croissant, try La boîte à pain, on Saint-Joseph. They also have delicious cheese bread... miam!
