Upgraded Chick-fil-a chicken salad sandwich is really good

When I was a kid I used to get the Chick-fil-a chicken salad sandwich, but as an adult I sort of stopped ordering it. It wasn't a real high quality chicken salad, although a somewhat unique taste that I always liked. I don't know when they did this, but they have upgraded the sandwich with bigger chunks of chicken, less mayonnaise, added some nice green leaf lettuce, and put it on a good wheatberry bread. I've had it several times recently, and I have to say I'm impressed, at least as far as fast food goes.

I agree! I just had one yesterday for lunch and thought it seemed much better than the last one I had eaten from there. I don't like chicken salad with a lot of mayonnaise and it seems like they have reduced the quantity being used. Their website lists the chicken salad sandwich as 480 calories and 20 g of fat. Not a health food, but good every once in a while.

I haven't tried the chicken salad sandwich, but overall lately I thought CFA's quality had improved. I like the grilled chicken sandwich which comes on a whole wheat roll, sans condiments... I like adding my own. :)
