Baltimore- crabs yet?

Hi
We have to take our son to Hopkins for day-long evaluation tomorrow and we'd like to reward him (and us) with some crabs for an early dinner. I know it's a little early in the season-anywhere we could get some? Softshell or hardshell, either would be fab.

  1. Mr. Bill's Terrace Inn in Essex. People will recommend Obrycki's but it's an overpriced tourist trap.

Thanks Hon-but how far out of town is that? We're coming up from VA. It's already a 100-mile one-way trip, so we don't want to go too much farther.
Is there an opinion on Bo's?

Missy -- if you want to stick with soft-shell rather than hard-shell, a number of restaurants near downtown are participating in "Soft Shell Crab Week" this week. See here for details:

It's like 15 minutes from the hospital. Bo Brooks is OK, I find them overpriced and touristy.

So Bo Brooks and Obrycki's are out? Oh, Noooooo! It's Mr. Bill's!!!! ;-)
