We re-visited about 3-4 weeks ago when we found ourselves, hungry, in Metro West on a Saturday afternoon. Sat at the bar and had the pleasant guy (who spent time in New Orleans) tending bar and waiting on us. B had to get the fried pickles again. Who can nitpick about fried pickles? We split the garlic hummus plate, which hit the spot (can't recall details) and the mushroom/truffle oil scented pizza. The scent from the truffle oil made us both swoon. We drank off the nice beer and wine-by-the-glass lists. Best of all, the bartender and co-owner sat with us and we chatted for a while about food in general, the Boston food scene, Chowhound/Yelp/blogs, etc. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Our collective conclusion that day - f$%^ what everyone else says/writes and enjoy what you enjoy. Nice mantra...

The Mushroom flatbread is delicious (it has another name but I forget what it is); the fries are very good and the burgers are very good, too.
