Restaurants in Central Tuscany

I am leaving for Tuscany this Saturday and will be staying in Giola in Chianti, but will be traveling throughout Central Tuscany. Any restaurant suggestions at any price (just indicate) and tell me if it's a great lunch or dinner spot.

I just returned from Tuscany 2 weeks ago and one of the best meals we had were at
    Trattoria i Bologna, Via N Sardi 4 -Tel: 0141 644600
    14030 Rocchetta Tanaro (asti)-Italy
    and
Antica Macelleria Cecchini- the owner is the famous butcher Dario Cecchini from the best selling NYT book "HEAT" by Bill Buford. My husband and i had a wonderful 3 1/2 hour Sunday lunch on the patio- it was one of the best days EVER!! And Dario was there behind the butcher counter doing his thing.

Thanks to everyone. I leave in the morning and cannot wait. I hope to be able to give some feedback on great places when I return! Ciao.

This topic gets discussed here often. I would suggest doing "Search this board" searches for cities/towns such as as Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Cortona, etc.
You will find a good number of helpful suggestions here for you.

Great tip. I am new to this site, as it was just recently recommended to me. I will make sure to do just that!

If you are anywhere near Southern Tuscany, Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, etc, you must go to Da Toto at Lucignano for either lunch or dinner. (Look at my last trip report.)
