Probably time for an updated list.

What are peoples favorites.

I find it interesting that Morton's has a happy hour from 9-11 or so.

Has anyone been to it?

      Wow.

Search function was really not working too well for me I guess.

it's not just you - apparently i have some bizarre gift for unearthing CH and Google search results that seem to elude everyone else. hope some of the info i posted was useful!

    2. This has been mentioned before, but among the best Downtown is the Happy Hour at McCormick & Schmick in the Omni Hotel next to Petco. It's always a very lively bar scene during H.H. , there is outside patio seating, and best of all, dirt cheap app's mostly seafood. Be aware, though, that on Padre home game nights, it ends at 5 PM. All other nights I believe its 5-7.

      1. Costa Brava in PB, happy hours are 4:00-7:00 7 days a week, 1/2 off all bar menu items. Such a deal.

I also just tried True North in North Park, and they also have pretty good specials on their drinks. I haven't gotten any of their food items; they didn't sound too tempting at the time.

        1. Yardhouse has a solid happy hour w/half price apps & taps for <$5.
