Recs near B'way & 27th?

Grabbing an early dinner with a friend and it needs to be walking distance to B'way and 27th. Any recommendations for flat iron area? I like Koreatown, but am looking for something with a bit more atmosphere. Would like to max out at $40/each, with a drink or two.

Resto - Belgian moules frites and burgers - i think it's 29th between Madison and 5th Ave.

In that area, you will find Giorgio's of Gramercy...Campanile....Les Halles (I already hear people complaining but it is not that bad and has atmosphere, and not too expensive).....Those are the places I tried and liked.

Campanile is also a place I like. Excellent traditional Italian fare; friendly, attentive service, pleasant atmospherics, and prices in line with that budget.
