Phx: Fave Mexican Chain
...is Someburros for me.
Have been dining there since it's inception in the late 1980s.
I think what makes it my favorite is the red sauce, the quality ingredients in each dish, the consistency in flavor and deliciousness of my favorite items, quick and (usually) friendly service, and very clean aesthetics.
Haven't found anything like it here in Southern California.
Granted, we're not talking gourmet or knock-your-socks-off cuisine, but for fast food, I find it to be pretty awesome.
I'm curious to read a list of your favorite Mexican food chain restaurants in the Valley.

Our favorite is Carolina's. Their homade tortillas cant be beat. Their red and green chili salsas are great! My favorite is the enchilada sauce. I could put that on everything! Yum!

Someburros? Really? I found the food there to be bland as hell. I'd take Chipotle over Someburros in a heartbeat. Pretty much all of the suburban chains are deathly boring sanitized versions of Sonoran cuisine.
As far as Mexican chains go, my favorites would have to be Los Dos Molinos, and the food courts inside Phoenix Ranch Market. Los Dos is deliciously spicy, and the Ranch Market is just an endless wonderland of delicious Mexican food.

I didn't immediately think of Ranch Market when I was debating my favorite Mexican chain, but since that's a valid option, I have to wholeheartedly agree with you. Everything I've tried in their food court has been fantastic. Great aguas frescas, and phenomenal street tacos, especially. Those tacos--particularly al pastor and carnitas on their cooked-before-your-eyes-fresh tortillas--are some of my favorites...anywhere. It's hard to beat Ranch Market's quality, value, and festivity, and makes this an easy favorite for mexican chains.
