help pairing wine with a wine soup

I am making a wine soup, beef broth based, using egg yolks, a bit of cream and Reisling. There is also a pinch of cinammon! Any suggestions?

Water. You won't need wine with this soup. Wine is rarely paired with soup, period.

One the contrary, water is rarely paired with anything as it enhances nothing. There are many classic soup/wine pairings especially when wine is an ingredient.

Sherry or Madeira - Turtle soup
      Aligote - French Onion soup
Cotes du Provence Rosé - Bourride
      Cassis Blanc - Bouillabaisse

      Just to name a few.

I have traveled all through Europe and wine always served with soup.

Those are all pretty hearty, and certainly can go well with wine. The OP mentions a soup that appears to be all liquid, but maybe I'm reading too much into it.

C'est facile....use a quality Riesling in the soup and serve the same wine with the soup.

I'd rather use a cheapo for the soup, serve the quality one.
Most of the aromatics ( or the high frequency vinous harmonics, to use a fancy metaphor ) are lost in the cooking.
