Da Domenico in Rome
Has anyone been to Da Domenico in Rome? They have a sister restaurant all the way in Hong Kong and it's very popular there, so I'm wondering if it's worth trying in Rome. Is the restaurant special in Rome or just one of the countless ones that offer good food?
Do you have an address? The only Domenico I know is not the type to have sisters in HK or anywhere.

Don't have the address at the moment (will try to find it asap) but apparently there are two brothers and one of them runs the one in Rome and the other one runs the one in Hong Kong. The one in Hong Kong is very popular especially among the rich and celebrity, and is supposed to fly in a lot of stuff from Rome everyday -- and hence it's really expensive!

So apparently the restaurant in Rome is called "Trattoria Da Domenico di Pallizzi Rolando" at Via Zuccagni, Orlandini, Rome. Has anyone been?

Here's a link to a current article in Bon Appetit on the Pigneto neighborhood that refers to it. There are other articles on blogs etc that indicate its an old line trattoria in that area

The Italian Yellow Pages list a Trattoria da Domenico di Palluzzi Rolando, but they say it's at Via San Giovanni in Laterano 134.
It's probably the one mbfant knows; it's in her neighborhood.
