Panna Cotta emergency

  • 3

We are friends of two long-time chowhounders, SarahKC and AndyK - who are getting married tomorrow. Making a long story short, it is imperative that we bring them panna cotta (it has a special significance for them). Does anyone know where we can pick some up in SF or Berkeley sometime before 1pm tomorrow (sunday)???

Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  1. Most places that I know that make panna cotta won't be open before then...I think your best bet is to run to the store now (or first thing in the morning): here's a recipe from David Lebovitz, who is trustworthy, and he says it's very easy and quick http://www.davidlebovitz.com/archives...

    1. I'm not really sure how much you need, but if you're talking a few servings, Corso in Berkeley has panna cotta on their brunch menu and opens at 11:30AM. I had the vanilla bean with meyer lemon sauce about a month ago and thought it was delicious - good luck!
