Airport Diner, Manchester NH. Great service, and really good food.

Went tonight on a whim on my way home, I wanted something quick, not fancy and "dinerish" so I went to the Airport Diner (One of the Common Man family restaurants) I ordered the Fisherman;s Combo and the salad bar (an extra $2.79 with dinner) The Salad Bar was great, and when I mentioned to my server that the bar was out of beets, she had it immediately restocked, and told me "beets are in!" I got my platter, and was kind of surprised because it seemed much smaller than the last time I ordered it, (only a week ago) and the waitress confirmed it when she told me that yes, they had scaled down the portions drastically because as she said "They were giving too much" and she asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, I declined, and said It was fine and thanked her for her candidness. A couple minutes later a manager came over and asked if I was dissatisfied, and i just said, I was a little surprised that there were only 4 clams in the platter when the last time I got it there were several... he said "There were only 4?" and immediate sent me over an entire basket of clams, over 10 more!. This was well above and beyond anything they should have done and i was VERY impressed that they went this extra mile They made me feel like I was the most important customer they had. After I finished my meal and thanked the manager I noticed another fishermans platter come out to a table.. loaded with clams... that shows me the manager felt all the customers should get more, not just me. Again scoring huge points with me.

To the manager and server, thank you for making me feel like a valued customer.

Thanks, we will be flying out of and into Manchester in June & July and need recs. We really enjoyed the Chinese place near our park and fly motel that you rec. last Feb.
