Hi:

Looking for Sunday brunch/lunch recommendations near the Four Season's Centre. Have tix to matinee (2pm start) and was hoping for somewhere within walking distance.

Thanks!

Any particular price point or cuisine?
One place that comes to mind is Marben, but it's probably a 20 minute walk.

thanks - was looking for brunch recommendations really - there aren't many places that I know of open around there on a Sunday morning. What's the buzz on Conviction?

Conviction, formerly Bite Me, formerly Thuet, has a great brunch but iffy service. Worth it if you have time, which, with a 2 p.m. start, you do. Get ready for botched orders, lukewarm lattes, etc. But when they get it right, it rocks.

Closer to the Four Seasons Centre is the Queen Mother. Here's their brunch menu: http://www.queenmothercafe.ca/brunch.htm

Lai Wah Heen is relatively close for delectable dim sum.

        Quick and cheap:

        Trimurti
        Queen Mother
        Ginger
The Rex if you just want an OK burger and a Dixieland band.
