Carter's ice cream - new on Woodmount @ Danforth, West of Woodbine

I noticed this new little shop a few days ago. They sell Kawartha Dairy ice cream in the cone, and appear to have a bunch of candy toppings. Haven't been yet, but maybe people will give it a try and post!!!!

Any recent reviews? Looking to pick up an ice cream cake for a children's bday party - may just default to Baskin-Robbins but the pics on Carter's website look cute. Plus they use Kawartha Dairy ice cream.

Never had an ice-cream cake there but Carters is a great addition to my neighbourhood. Give it a try!

Unfortunately we had a really disappointing first experience. I'm hoping the customer service will improve over the summer season when we give it a second try.

What happened? Was the ice cream good but the service problematic?

They didn't have milk for a milkshake so the owner went to get more, but didn't tell me so I was left just standing there. I would have just ordered a cone instead had I known. Then when the milk arrived another customer was served before me and my original server was just hanging out.

Passed by this place after a Seb's espresso and before a Quattro Ragazze meal. Looked nice and clean inside, but I didn't want an ice cream before pasta. Will drop in based on all these posts!

Tried it this weekend, great little shop! The Kawartha Dairy ice cream is delicious, friendly staff, catering to the kids which is awesome and reasonably priced, highly recommended.

Just west of Woodbine across from the Pizza Nova and East Lynn Park, hopefully they do well It's great for the neighbourhood.

They had a huge line up outside the store late afternoon today. I hope they do well.

They had their grand opening today and everyone in the neighbourhood got a coupon for a free cone, which may explain the line-up. Hope they do well too, though. Being across from the park where lots of families hang out (and the farmer's market in the summer) is a great location.
